Cole: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Tasha: With advanced training in the most evidence-based methods, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I use the most effective methods in my practice to move couples toward secure, joyful relationships. I help couples develop an understanding of the pattern in which they’re caught, enact conversations that deepen their understanding of one another, and permanently restructure their interactions with each other. I believe that presence, kindness, and compassion are the key to mindful and fulfilling relationships and that mindful and fulfilling relationships are crucial for greater well-being and health.

Cole: Tell us a little bit about how you practice. What are your specialities, if any? What clients do you love to work with?

Tasha: I and my practice specialize in couples therapy, helping clients break negative cycles in their relationships and feel more connected.

Cole: Why did you decide to get into the work that you do now?

Tasha: I realized early in life that relationships have a profound impact on the quality of our lives. I became fascinated with studying them and how to improve them. It's become my life mission!

Cole: What are some of the biggest challenges facing mental health providers today, in your opinion?

Tasha: Companies like betterhelp- scary stuff!

Cole: Where do you see the future of mental health care going?

Tasha: Oh my goodness, it's hard to say! I am seeing more and more people interested in working on their self-growth, which is reassuring for our business and for society in general :)

Cole: What’s one thing you recommend that all your clients do to see lasting impact in their lives?

Tasha: Break out of protective responses such as shutting down or protesting, and start to vulnerably share their emotions in an authentic way that connects them to their partner and breaks them out of the negative cycle.
